The purpose of this study was to compare the stuttering attitudes of nonstuttering preschool from widely different cultures, the USA and Turkey, in order to: ! Examine whether or not nonstuttering children hold prejudicial or negative attitudes toward children who stutter ! Identify variables that may account for the emergence of those attitudes.
