Contributing Factors of Success in Speech Fluency Therapy

The author discusses twelve success factors for fluency therapy. The discussion involved and SLP perspectives, and included: understanding the disorder, positive view about the disorder, motivation, SLP trust, passion for working with fluency clients, SLP-provided motivation, client independence, emotional aspect acknowledgement, therapy individualization, SLP flexibility, and being a good listener.
